Will my low score effect our mortgage loan chances?

Hello,
My fiancee and I are looking to move out of our apartment and buy a house. She currently has a credit score of about 750 and mine is a pathetic 640, mainly due to not having a long credit history. We both want to be on the loan. We are looking at getting an FHA loan.
With my low score could that cause it to be declined in spite of her high score? Can I be added on to the loan after the fact if she just applied on her own? Is it possible to have two people on a loan? Are some companies more strict than others? Thanks for your help
How can I get a mortgage with a 480 credit score?
Posted in: Low Credit Score Mortgage Tags: co borrower, credit score, deliquent accounts, fha loan, money, time buyer
I have an average 480 credit score but a local lender told me I needed at least a 580 to qualify for a FHA loan (1st time buyer/low down pmt). My boyfriend (co-borrower) has a 700+ credit score and they still wouldn’t loan us the money. Our income is decent and I have started cleaning up my deliquent accounts, what can I do to get into a house now?
Refi rental property with low credit score?

I have a rental property that I owe approx 67k. Houses in my area have been appraised at around 150k (same floor plan). I want to refi and get as much equity as I can out of it. I have a tenant that has been in the house for over 3 years and rent is never late. However my credit score is low due to a Chapter 13 filing 4 years ago. I would like to refi and buy myself out of the BK which would be about 4k and go to a 15 year mortgage. For the record I have learned from my BK which is why I went Chapter 13 instead of 7. My income has tripled since filing and my tenant is paying double what the mortgage is right now. What are my chances? Any lenders specialize in this?
It is an FHA loan.
Mortgage loans with credit score under 600?
Posted in: Low Credit Score Mortgage Tags: credit score, credit scores, fha loan, first time home, first time home buyers, home loans, thanks for your help, time home buyers
Me and my husband are searching for home loans (were first time home buyers) but I discovered our credit scores aren’t the best (both of ours are under 600). I keep getting rejected for the FHA loan because they require a minimum of 600. Does anyone know of a legit loan that requires a lower credit score? Thanks for your help! **Be sure to enter the URL or web address if you provide answers**!
