What is the best way to improve credit score if I have no credit?

I am debt free and have been since my bankruptcy over 12 years ago. I recently looked into getting a mortgage, but was told I can’t get one because my credit score is too low. I went on freecreditreport.com and got a copy and there are some things on there that are not identified, and I don’t know what they are. So, how do I have those removed? I am assuming that will improve my credit score so I can get a mortgage. Advice is appreciated!

We filed bankruptcy 2 years ago. And Now our dream home is finally back on the market. My (live together for 4yrs) Fiance has a really good job for our area but only been there about 4 mths. We checked his credit score a couple mths ago and it was 534. Does anyone know where we can get a loan with short time on the job and low credit score??????

My credit is damaged and i have come to the end of my contract with my landlord that states i must now purchase this house…i have just come out of a divorce/bankruptcy, and need help please!
